Copyright – Don’t steal my stuff

Last updated: August 2025

All content on this site is the intellectual property of Stéphanie Walter, unless otherwise credited. This includes text, illustrations, photos, design, brand identity, HTML/CSS code, and downloadable resources.

In short: No. I put a lot of time and effort into this design, you should NOT re-use my brand identity.

You may not..

  • Reuse my logo or illustrations.
  • Copy and reuse brand colors (yellow #FEDC2A, dark purple #5A3B5D, medium purple #8A538E, light purple #C7A9CD) as a set. While I don’t own copyright on individual colors, using them together is, my brand identity. Note that reusing my colors but “slightly changing the rgba / hexadecimal” of 1 digit / letter is also, not acceptable.
  • Copy and reuse exact site layout, button effects, dotted backgrounds, stripe separators, or overall visual style.

You may

  •  Use individual colors if not paired with my full brand palette.
  • Reuse parts of my CSS for inspiration, as long as you change color, fonts, and style.

Thanks.  To be clear, this is my polite way to say “don’t commit copyright infringement by copying my design) If you reuse without permission, I will invoice you at 600EUR per day of usage and request removal for copyright infringement.

2. Written Content

You may not…

You may not copy my portfolio text, blog posts, or articles without explicit written permission.

The copy of the portfolio is written with the collaboration of Myriam Jessier at Pragm. No, you can’t re-use my content and copy. Even if you think it is nicely written. Even if English is not your native language (for the record, it’s not mine either)

If you reuse without permission, I will invoice you at 600EUR per day of usage and request removal for copyright infringement.

You may

  • Quote a sentence or two from the blog if you want in your content (slides, blog, etc.) as long as you credit me as author.
  • I publish some PDF, docs and image resources. Some are published under creative common license. For those, you can re-use them, as long as you don’t make a commercial usage (so, you don’t make money, in any sort of ways) and you credit me, as author. Check the license individually as it might change for each content.

3. HTML/CSS Code

The HTML and CSS of this site was created with the collaboration of Geoffrey Crofte. If you are curious, he wrote about how he created my menu. You can look under the hood for inspiration, but do not copy large chunks of code or replicate the full design.

You can get inspired if you want. Take a peek under the hood to see how the CSS is done. But don’t just copy a whole chunk of my code. This is not very ethical. Also, it would copy part of my design, which is, again, stealing my design.

4. AI / LLM Use

Please do not feed my content into AI training or LLM tools. I take a lot of time writing this content. Especially if it’s to write half backed blog posts that might not be accurate.

Still, I don’t think there’s anything that I can here to stop you, right? So, at least, if you feed my content into an AI / LLM tool:
